Shipping

Delivery depends on stock availability as well as the postal service.

In-stock items are usually dispatched the same day when ordered before 2pm Tuesday–Friday, excluding UK bank holidays.

Supplier-sourced and made-to-order items need additional time before dispatch. Lead times vary by manufacturer and can range from a few days to several months. Please contact us if you need an estimate for your order.

Once dispatched:

  • Orders up to £120: Royal Mail Tracked 48, with a delivery aim of 2–3 working days.
  • Orders over £120: Royal Mail Special Delivery, normally arriving the next working day, subject to service and postcode exceptions.

Bank holidays may affect these estimates. You’ll receive a dispatch email with tracking details when your order is on its way.

We deliver within the UK only. Delivery is free on orders over £25, and £3.99 on orders of £25 or less.

Please see our Shipping Policy for estimated supplier lead times and full details.

Returns & Warranty

Please email contact@jynxpiercing.co.uk as soon as possible, quoting your order number. We’ll do our best to stop your order before dispatch. If it has already been sent, we’ll explain how to arrange an eligible return.

For eligible online purchases, you can notify us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after delivery. You then have a further 14 days from notifying us to send the items back.

Exceptions apply to jewellery made to your personal specifications or personalised for you, and hygiene-sealed jewellery once its seal has been broken. Your rights regarding faulty or incorrectly supplied items remain unaffected.

Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for full conditions and refund details.

Yes, eligible unwanted gifts can be returned within 30 days of delivery.

Under our 30-day returns offer, jewellery must be unused, unworn and in its original condition, with its original packaging and any hygiene seals intact.

Please email contact@jynxpiercing.co.uk with your order number or proof of purchase so we can provide return instructions.

You are responsible for return postage for unwanted items. We recommend keeping proof of postage.

Refunds are issued to the purchaser’s original payment method. When an entire eligible online order is cancelled under statutory cancellation rights, we also refund any standard delivery charge paid.

These change-of-mind conditions do not affect your rights regarding faulty or incorrectly supplied items.

Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details and exclusions.

If you’ve ordered the wrong size, colour or style, please email contact@jynxpiercing.co.uk as soon as possible, quoting your order number. We’ll try to amend your order before dispatch.

If your order has already arrived, eligible unwanted items can be returned within 30 days of delivery, subject to our return conditions. Jewellery must be unused, unworn and in its original condition, with original packaging and any hygiene seals intact. You are responsible for return postage in this situation.

Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.

If you believe your jewellery is faulty or you’ve received an incorrect item, please email contact@jynxpiercing.co.uk with your order number and a description of the issue. Photos are helpful where possible.

  • Within 30 days of delivery: you can request a full refund for faulty, damaged-on-arrival or incorrectly supplied jewellery.
  • After 30 days: you may still be entitled to a repair, replacement or refund, depending on the circumstances.
  • We will provide return instructions and cover reasonable return postage costs for faulty or incorrectly supplied items.

Damage caused by misuse, accidental damage or forcing jewellery into place is not covered. This does not affect your statutory rights.

Manufacturer guarantees vary by brand and item. Where a lifetime workmanship guarantee applies, it covers qualifying manufacturing defects under the manufacturer’s terms.

Approved claims may be resolved through repair or replacement. Guarantees generally exclude loss, normal wear and tear, accidental damage and misuse.

If you believe your jewellery has a manufacturing defect, email contact@jynxpiercing.co.uk with your order number and details of the issue. We’ll help you through the claim process.

Manufacturer guarantees are additional to your statutory rights and do not replace any entitlement to a refund, repair or replacement.

Please see our Returns & Refunds Policy for full details.

Fine body jewellery is made to a different standard than fashion or high-street jewellery. Pieces like this are produced from solid gold or implant-grade metals, manufactured to tight tolerances, and designed to be worn safely inside the body for long periods of time.

These materials and production standards are commonly used by professional piercers and trusted manufacturers, which results in higher costs than plated or mass-market alternatives — but also greater comfort, durability, and consistency over time.

We stock jewellery from manufacturers trusted in professional piercing studios. All pieces are designed specifically for body piercing use, not adapted from standard fashion jewellery.

Where gold is listed, it refers to solid 14ct or 18ct gold — not plated or gold-filled. Material details are always shown clearly on each product page.

Styling & Sizing

The suitability of an earring depends on where the piercing is, whether it’s new or healed, and the jewellery’s size and material. Not all earrings are designed for every piercing.

For fresh or healing piercings, jewellery should be made from implant-grade materials and be the correct length, diameter, and style to allow for swelling and proper healing. For healed piercings, the fit should be secure and comfortable, with the correct post thickness and length for your anatomy.

Key things to check include:

  • Piercing location (lobe, helix, nose, etc.)

  • Gauge (thickness) of the post

  • Post length or ring diameter

  • Thread type (threadless, internally threaded, or hinged)

  • Material quality (APP-approved, implant-grade metals)

If you’re ever unsure, we strongly recommend having your jewellery fitted or checked by a professional piercer. Our team is always happy to help you choose jewellery that’s safe, comfortable, and appropriate for your piercing.

The gauge refers to the thickness of the jewellery post or ring that passes through your piercing. Gauge sizing works in reverse — the higher the number, the thinner the jewellery.

For example:

  • 20g (0.8mm) is thinner

  • 16g (1.2mm) is thicker

Most cartilage piercings are initially pierced at 16g (1.2mm), which is also the standard thickness for our labret posts, including threadless and internally threaded styles. This size offers the strength and stability needed for safe healing.

If your piercing was done with a piercing gun, it is likely smaller than 16g (1.2mm). In this case, you may need to visit a professional piercer to safely stretch the piercing before wearing thicker jewellery.

Our jewellery — including threadless labrets, barbells, huggies, and clicker hoops — is available in a range of gauges, typically 16g (1.2mm) to 20g (0.8mm) depending on the style. Wearing thinner jewellery over time can cause a piercing to naturally shrink. If you ever wish to size back up, a professional piercer can easily and safely stretch it for you.

If you’re unsure which gauge is right for your piercing, our team is always happy to help.

This piece is made from materials commonly used in professional piercing and is suitable for fresh piercings when correctly fitted. Healing varies from person to person and depends on factors such as placement, anatomy, aftercare, and lifestyle. If you’re unsure what’s right for you, we’re always happy to help before you order.

No jewellery can guarantee a specific healing outcome. However, high-quality materials and proper manufacturing can reduce the risk of material-related irritation when compared to lower-grade alternatives. Choosing the correct size and following good aftercare are just as important.

Fitting

If you’re changing jewellery yourself, wait until your piercing is fully healed. Any jewellery changes during healing, including downsizing, should be carried out by a qualified professional piercer.

We recommend professional fitting for the best fit, particularly if this is your first jewellery change or the piece has delicate details.

Most of our jewellery uses a threadless push-fit system. A slight bend in the attachment’s pin creates tension that holds it inside a compatible post. A piercer can adjust this tension and check that the attachment is secure.

For internally threaded jewellery, the attachment screws into a compatible post. Always check that your attachment and post use the correct connection and size.

If you change jewellery at home, wash your hands and work over a clean, soft surface to catch small components. If working near a sink, keep the plug in.

Handle jewellery gently, especially solid gold pieces and delicate gemstone settings. Avoid excessive pressure or forcing any component into place. If the jewellery feels resistant, painful or stuck, stop and ask a professional piercer for help.

If you’re unsure about compatibility, sizing or fitting, please contact us before attempting a change—we’re happy to help.
