Returns, Refunds & Cancellations Policy
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Please read our policy carefully so you know your rights and responsibilities when requesting a return, refund, or exchange.
🔄 Order Cancellations

Orders may be cancelled, edited, or changed before they are packaged and shipped.

If a cancellation or refund is requested after packaging has taken place, a £2.00 packaging fee will be deducted from the refund.

To request a cancellation, please email us at contact@jynxpiercing.co.uk as soon as possible.
📬 Unwanted Items

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, provided the jewellery is unopened, unused, and in “as new” condition.

Original packaging and safety seals must remain intact and untampered with.

For health and hygiene reasons, any body jewellery/earrings that have been opened, worn, or returned with a broken hygiene seal cannot be refunded or returned. Such items will be disposed of as biohazard materials.

Customers are responsible for the cost of return postage for unwanted items.

We strongly recommend obtaining proof of postage and adequate insurance from your postal service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of returned items.

Provided the return meets our conditions, refunds will be processed within 7 days of receipt. Refunds cover the item cost only, not the original shipping charge.
🎁 Gift Cards

Gift Cards cannot be refunded, exchanged, or used to purchase another Gift Card.

Please ensure the recipient’s email address is entered correctly when ordering. We are not responsible for incorrectly entered addresses.

Gift Cards must be used within 12 months of purchase.

Lost, stolen, or misused Gift Cards cannot be replaced.
⚠️ Incorrect Orders & Faulty Items

If you receive the wrong item or your order arrives damaged, we will take full responsibility and offer a replacement or a refund to your original payment method.

Refund requests for faulty or incorrect items must be made within 30 days of delivery.

Please note: damage caused by misuse, tampering, or deliberate force (e.g. bent rings, forced hinges, or broken stone settings) is not covered by our returns policy.
🛡️ Lifetime Guarantee (Branded Jewellery)

We offer a lifetime guarantee on jewellery manufactured by Anatometal, Junipurr Jewelry, BVLA, Modern Mood, Neo Metal.

This guarantee covers defects in workmanship (e.g. loose stones, faulty clasps) but does not cover accidental loss, misuse, or general wear and tear.

To make a warranty claim, please contact us first for instructions. Items must be returned for inspection and repair or replacement where possible. Refunds are not offered on warranty claims.

Return postage for warranty claims will be covered by us if the issue is confirmed to be a manufacturing fault.
📝 How to Request a Return

Log into your customer account via the My Account page on our website.

Select the order you wish to return and choose the relevant items.

Select a return reason and provide any additional notes.
-
Submit your request — we will review and confirm by email with further instructions.
Please note: Returns sent back without prior approval will not be accepted.
💳 Refund Process

Refunds are issued within 3–10 business days once approved and processed.

Refund timing depends on your original payment provider; we have no control over bank processing times.

Klarna, Clearpay, and other instalment payments will be refunded directly via the same service.

We totally get that life happens — things come up, plans change, and sometimes you just can’t make it. All we ask is that you give us enough notice so we can offer your slot to someone else who’s been waiting.
Changing or Cancelling an Appointment

The easiest way to cancel or move your appointment is by using the link in your booking confirmation email.

Sorry, but we can’t take cancellations via Instagram, Facebook messages, or voicemail — we don’t always catch them in time.
Deposits
All bookings need a deposit or pre-payment to secure your spot.

If you turn up, it comes off the total price.

If you cancel too late or don’t show, the deposit becomes the cancellation fee.
Notice Periods

More than 24 hours’ notice: No problem, we’ll move your deposit to your new appointment.

Less than 24 hours’ notice: The full service fee will be charged.

No-shows or running too late: If there’s not enough time left to complete your piercing, the full fee applies.

Same-day bookings: Need at least 4 hours’ notice if you can’t make it.
Multiple Services
Booked more than one piercing in a session? Each slot needs 24 hours’ notice — otherwise the full fee will be charged for all services reserved.
Things You Must Bring
To make sure your appointment can go ahead, please:

Meet the minimum age for the piercing you’re booking. Under 18? Bring a parent or legal guardian with you.

Bring valid photo ID (for both parent and child if under 18). We can’t accept digital versions.

Have a doctor’s note if you’ve got a medical condition like epilepsy, haemophilia, diabetes, or heart issues.

Our cancellation policy keeps the diary running smoothly, helps us offer free slots to other clients, and makes sure our piercers’ time is respected.
